            "How to be a successful person in a man’s world?” – this question constantly appears in the mind of any person.

And it’s quite normal that everyone wants to get to the top. Everyone wants to know how to rise above the crowd and become a leader in his field. But are why there so many people who want to get to the top, spend a lot of time and money in the effort of high achievements? That is because it helps you to get a high position in society, to satisfy your ambitions, gives you   а self-confidence and а chance to help other people.

 Getting to the top is a good thing, but it also has another side. The sinister side of success is not about what success creates or achieves, but what it does to the one who has finally won it. How many people being blinded by future success forget about their families, relationship with their children and connection with their colleagues? Beware of the sinister side of getting to the top because sometimes when you have already reached your aim you may find yourself alone.

              Did you know that only five percent of people living on the Earth have become successful? In other words only one from twenty people is really successful. Forty years ago an interesting research was made by "American City Business Journals”. One hundred young men about twenty five years old were asked if they wanted to get to the top in their fields. Sure, all of them answered: "Yes”. Forty years have passed, and the time has come to see the results. It turns out that thirty six of them had passed away being under sixty five and only few became rich. Four of them were financially independent and all the rest were living on the state support or on money of their family.

Why is it so? Why one person gets to the top starting from the bottom and the other appears to be an outsider? To understand this I think we should learn the history of people who managed to reach much. The brightest example is Bill Gates, the Harvard dropout has become one of the richest men in the world. Bill strongly believes in hard work. From childhood Bill has been ambitious, intelligent and competitive. These qualities helped him to reach the top position in the profession he chose. In school, he had an excellent record in mathematics and science. In 1975 Bill and his childhood friend Paul Allen began a company called Microsoft. Guided by a belief that the computer would be a valuable tool on every office desktop and in every home, they began developing software for personal computers. The world has been talking about the secret of his getting to the top for many years. When Bill Gates was asked about this secret he said that he just has an immense passion for computers and software. Without passion it is very difficult to work hard. When you have passion the work becomes a fun for you and you want to enjoy it more and more.

Bill Gates is not a greedy person. In fact, he is quite giving person when it comes to computers, internet and any kind of findings. Love people and treat them right.  I think this is the main thing that person should remember while getting to the top.  Why? Because if you are going to get to the top, you are going to need other people.

So what is the secret of success? Thomas J. Watson the founder of International Business Machines (IBM) said: «Would you like me to give you a formula for success? It’s quite simple, really. Double your rate of failure. You are thinking of failure as the enemy of success. But it isn’t at all. You can be discouraged by failure or you can learn from it, So go ahead and make mistakes. Make all you can. Because remember that’s where you will find success. » For now, if you’re not already at the top of your sphere, there are some essential steps you can make just now to get there and I want to share them with you.

First of all you should find your life calling. Have you ever wondered why some people have the supper energy to do everything even though they have worked for a long working day? This is because they do something that they love much. When you are doing something that you love, you will do it passionately without saying tired. This is the real clue to success. For example do you think that Michael Jordan loves basketball? He started as a baseball player but then found his life calling - basketball and managed to reach the top in this sport just because he loved it. Follow your passion and do what you love. This example shows that it is never too late to start doing something and that the most important thing is to believe in yourself. Success is more than going to work every day and getting paid , it means finding personal satisfaction in your work and loving what you do.

Second, don’t be afraid of criticism. You’ll never get better if you don’t have someone to and mark you. Manage to get evaluation from those who are more experienced. Ask them to be as honest as possible. And take criticism without getting your feelings hurt.

Also, remember that practice is probably the best way to get better. Practice as much as you can. That is not always easy but it gives the results. Don’t be upset because of failure. Making mistakes is a part of the whole process and you can’t avoid it. Even Albert Einstein said:”Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new”. They make us look at everything from the other side and push us to do something in different way. So never give up if you failed once. Every individual can have his goal he is going to during his life.
